❗INGREDIENTS❗<br /><br />Carrots 1 kg (grated)<br />Milk 400ml <br />Sugar 1 cup 150g or to taste<br /><br />Powder milk 1 cup<br />Ghee (desi) ½ cup or as required<br />Cardamom 9-10 <br /><br />Dry fruits/nuts as required<br />Jaifil (Nutmeg) ¼ <br />Javatri (Mace)<br />Kewra water 1tsp<br /><br />⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫<br /><br />INSTRUCTIONS<br /><br />Rinse, peel and grate carrots. In a pot, add carrots and heat up.<br /><br />Add milk and bring the whole mixture to a boil then mix it.<br /><br />On a medium low flame, uncovered, grated carrots will cook in the milk and the milk starts to reduce and evaporate.<br /><br />Now cook on high flame and keep on stirring in between.<br /><br />When all milk evaporates, add sugar and give it a good mix.<br /><br />Keep stirring and continue to cook on a high flame.<br /><br />Add ghee and mix well.<br /><br />Towards the end, add Milkpowder, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and mace, cover and put it on simmer for 5 minutes. Mix well add dry fruits/nuts and give it a good mix.<br /><br />Gajar halwa is ready!<br /><br /><br /><br />Urdu recepie<br /><br />Gajar ko dho ker cheel lein aur kadukash ker lein.<br /><br />Pot mein gajar or Doodh dal ker puray mixture ko ubal lein.<br /><br />Halki darmiyani ancch per,baghair dhakay gajaron ko doodh mein paka lein aur doodh ko khuskh ker lein.<br /><br />Ab tez annch per paka lein aur chamcha chalatay rahein.<br /><br />Jab doodh mukamal khuskh ho jaye toh cheeni shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix ker lein.<br /><br />Chamcha chalatay hoye tez ancch per paka lein.<br /><br />Ghee dal ker mix ker lein.<br /><br />Akhir mein elaichi powder,jaifal,javatri powder our milk powder dal ker dhak ker 5 min pakaain pher achay say mix karay or apni pasand kay dry fruits/nuts dal lein.<br /><br />Gajar halwa tayyar hai.
